What you need to get in to the Database Administrator at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology?
An Alberta High School Diploma or equivalent with 50% in each of the following courses or their equivalents: Pure Math 30 or Applied Math 30 or Math 31 and English Language Arts 30-1 or English Language Arts 30-2. Successful completion of an aptitude test. Introductory programming course (available through SAIT Continuing Education). Experience with relational databases (e.g. Microsoft Access) and operating systems (e.g.Linux/ Unix, Windows). If the program is oversubscribed, additional criteria will be used. Qualified candidates may be interviewed to ensure their suitability. Your current resume. A one page description detailing your background and career goals and how you expect this program to help you achieve these goals. You will be contacted for an appointment for a personal interview. $250 tuition deposit once you are accepted into the program.
